Submerge into the narrow coble stoned streets and enjoy the colorful painted old houses. Continue to Kazanlak – the Rose capital of Bulgaria and the center of Valley of Thracian Kings with several tombs dating 3rd – 4th century BC. After breakfast, pick up from hotel and transfer to the city of Kazanlak. Here we will have the opportunity to take part in the ritual of “rose picking” and enjoy the carnival procession. After breakfast, transfer to the ancient city of Plovdiv, votes as the European Capital of Culture 2019. There are many remains preserved from Antiquity, which you will have the opportunity to marvel during the old city tour. The region is known for the wine production of a unique Bulgarian grape variety Mavrud. After breakfast, transfer back to Sofia, where you will go on a sightseeing tour of Sofia. We will visit main highlights of the central part of the city. The Bulgarian capital dates even before the 7th century BC, when Thracians established their city around a mineral spring, which exists to the present day. During your free time in Sofia, you can join one of the optional tours, including a visit to the National History Museum (Golden Thracian Treasures) and the Boyana church (UNESCO), as well as a farewell dinner in traditional Bulgarian restaurant with live folklore show and dances on hot charcoals.
