    Ornos is the definition of the traditional Greek island village. The small fishing port is a favourite family holiday destination, and its simple bakeries, restaurants and shops make it feel like you’ve been transported back in time. Korfos Beach is located in Ornos and it is a great spot to try kite-surfing. That isn’t the only water-sport you’ll find there, but it is the most popular.

Platis Yialos is definitely the place to head for a great family holiday as the nearby Paradise and Super Paradise Beach are geared more toward late-night partying. If you’re not travelling with children, try Paradise or Super Paradise Beach; but if the kids are coming, Platis Yialos is the right spot.

    Church of Paraportiani

    The Church of Paraportiani is a group of five whitewashed chapels. These chapels offer a peek into the changing architecture and history of the island, as these structures were built on top of each other over the years. It is one of the most photographed churches in the entire world. A great day trip, and also an amazing area to have a picnic, surrounded by Greek history.

    Mykonos Windmills

    Nothing is more iconic on Mykonos than the island’s windmills. No matter where you are in Mykonos Town, you’ll be able to see the windmills, but it isn’t until you get right up to them that you see how amazing the structures are.
